GE WORKERS UNITED UPDATE. BACK TO THE BARGAINING TABLE

We have been in talks with GE concerning dates to return to the bargaining table. We were able to secure August the 12th as our starting date. The end date was not discussed, obviously, and will depend on GE’s willingness to address the members’ concerns. We will give a daily update—we will not wait until negotiations are over to give daily updates on our efforts to secure the best contract for our members that we can.

Remember in the end it is our members’ decision as to whether a tentative agreement is acceptable.
